This simple moment made us ask: why can’t we instantly know how fresh our food really is? It made us think why we can't immediately identify how fresh our food is. This question led to the development of a smart label that can detect decaying food in real time. After a thorough investigation and preliminary user testing, we began creating a packaging solution that reduces food waste and improves food safety by utilizing AI and microbial sensors to determine freshness levels through a smartphone.
